I have worked in design for over 20 years. Originally starting in print design working across packaging, corporate identity, literature and exhibitions before moving to digital some 15 years ago.
I normally work as an art director with a team, or as a senior designer capable of taking on wider project responsibilities if needed. I have worked both agency and client side.
I create useful, well thought out design solutions delivered against user needs, business requirements and brand values.
I'm happy to work with IA and UX designers, or on smaller projects taking on these responsibilities if required.
I have experience of working with both waterfall and agile project teams. I have a good knowledge of visually designing sites to level 2 or AA .
In the last 6 or 7 years I have concentrated on design and art direction. Prior to that period I was involved in some HTML, CSS and Flash development alongside my core design work. Whilst I no longer regard myself as proficient in coding it gave me a very good understanding of how to design for them.
